Hemerocallis are easy going perennials giving a long flowering season in any sunny moisture retentive border, though some shade is often tolerated. The arching grassy leaves are a good contrast for early spring flowers. Most flower in July and August, just when the border seems to be short of colour.| Click on picture for a larger image. |
