Aulden Farm Siberian Iris Page

Whilst the Iris ensata need some moisture, the Siberian Iris can cope with much drier conditions once they are established. Accordingly, they are more adaptable for general garden use and make excellent border plants. The foliage is also an added benefit as it provides a vertical interest over a long period and is suited to both formal and informal settings.
We are especially pleased this year to offer two new cultivars raised by the well known plantswoman, Jennifer Hewitt. 'Peter Hewitt' is remarkable in gaining the UK Dykes Medal in 2008, an award given to an outstanding iris. The other cultivar 'Stephen Wilcox' is just as good as producing flowers and brings a new colour combination to adorn your garden.
